James R. "Jay" Young
Chief Executive Officer /President

Mr. Young received his B.B.A. in Marketing from Angelo State University in 1985. After a career as a stock broker and in marketing, he formed King Operating Corporation in 1996 for the exploration and development of oil and gas properties. Mr. Young has had a life-long involvement in the oil and gas industry and is the fourth generation of his family to devote their careers to the industry. J. Robert Ransone J. Robert Ransone
Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Ransone joined King Consolidated, inc. in May of 2010. Prior to joining King, Mr. Ransone joined Barnes Oil and Gas LLC in 2007 as Vice President – Finance and CFO and was elevated to the office of President in early 2009. He is also a member of the board of directors. He has a long background in the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties. From 2005 to 2007, he was partner with responsibility for acquisitions and divestitures with Duer Wagner III. From 2004-2005, he was Vice President of Business Development and CFO for Five States Energy, LLC, which owned over $300 million of oil and gas producing properties. At Five States, in addition to his duties as CFO, he oversaw acquisitions and divestitures. From 1995 to 2004, he was founding partner, President and CEO of Wellspring Partners LLC. During his tenure at Wellspring, it enabled over $850 million in oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures. Rex Gifford Rex E. Gifford
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gifford earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas in May 1976. He currently assists King Consolidated Corporation in the formation, management and economic reporting functions for the royalty properties sponsored by the Company. Prior to joining King Consolidated in September of 2007, Mr. Gifford functioned as the CFO of New Horizon Exploration, Inc. for twelve years. Before beginning his tenure with New Horizon, Mr. Gifford specialized in resolving complex accounting issues for individuals and companies. He also provided income tax services for both industry and local public accounting firms.


Josh Fagan Josh Fagan
National Sales Director

Mr. Fagan has been in the Securities industry for over 10 years and currently holds Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 securities licenses. Prior to joining King Consolidated, Inc., Mr. Fagan served as president and CEO of Fagan and Rawlings Capital Management where he oversaw the investment strategies for high net worth clients and institutions. He is also the founder of 1031junction.com, a 1031 exchange informational resource.  Mr. Fagan serves as the liaison between King Consolidated and institutions covering the eastern United States.


Andy Rawlings P. Andrew Rawlings
Executive Vice President - Broker Dealer Relations

Mr. Rawlings currently holds series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses. He spent the past several years as Principal and COO of Fagan and Rawlings Capital Management. Mr. Rawlings’ primary duties at Fagan and Rawlings were to oversee daily operations as well as implement investment strategies to suit each individual client. Prior to entering the securities industries, Mr. Rawlings served as a United States Marine, as well as having attended Texas A & M Commerce.
